We all know that Nike recently launched the new Mercurial Vapor VIII on their Nike iD service, and now to celebrate it’s launch, Nike have put out this rather excellent video to show off all the features available to those who splash out on an iD pair of football boots.
Titled ‘Create Your Advantage’, this 8-minute long clip gives us an extensive insight into what players can bring to their Vapor VIII iD‘s, should they fancy something a little less ‘off the shelf’.
And why not show it off? Whilst we’ve always liked the Nike iD service, the Nike Vapor VIII iD’s are definitely a step up for the bespoke-boot creator.
Best of all, it gives you some (admittedly Marketing-friendly) hints as to how to make the perfect Vapors for your game. NOt sure on the soleplate or sockliner? This video will help you choose which you need.
With options like an iconic Safari-print upper, names, numbers, flags and even different sockliners, we can’t help but feel that Nike iD is on the way to becoming that ‘boot-of-your-dreams’ builder that we’ve been waiting for.
Now, if they bring back the Intertract soleplate for the CTR360 III, we’ll be really happy!
