PINK PUMA V1.08

What is it about brightly coloured, pink football boots?

You wait your entire career for some to wear and then two pairs come along at the same time.

Nike have made a lot of their Mercurial Vapor IV Berry’s but Puma have now also joined in with a new version of the v1.08 which will be worn by Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka.

Designed and engineered for the fastest players in the game, the v1.08 boot utilizes Puma’s cross-category UNI construction in which the upper is stitched – not glued or lasted – to the sole. Made from extra-thin lightweight materials with a second layer of microfiber for tactile characteristics, the v1.08 provides feel, grip and performance on the ball.

Pick it up, throw it in the air and feel the weight. Or lack of it. Just 200 grams of weight is achieved as a result of the two-piece outsole construction, carbon fibre forefoot and removable chassis.

Take a look through the see-through sole and check it out for yourself the shoe’s double-density, carbon fiber forefoot and advanced design.

Lastly, the iconic Puma Cat branding and v1.08 logo on the tongue are complemented by asymmetric speed lacing with special lace loops for a modern on-field look.

RRP: £120

These boots are real sexy, they aren’t in your face pink like the mercurials, they are just musky which is refreshing.
I have been known to wear over elaborate boots but i just couldn’t go near the vapor berries, i would get havked more than usual :O.
But these are more subtle, and ofcourse the boot is top class in terms of durability, weight and stud configuration. It really helps to perform that quick cut back.
